What you'll do

• Produce close-tolerance components using a manual vertical mill, engine lathe, band saw, and surface grinder
• machine blocks, plates, shafts, fixtures, and custom components
• read engineering drawings and blueprints
• perform setup, machining, inspection, and finishing
• maintain quality standards and production schedules
• order materials and tooling with management approval
• perform routine machine maintenance
• occasionally produce samples and run local errands as needed.
