Generative AI Engineer — Specialized Content & Compliance Agents

Job overview

The Generative AI Engineer role is hybrid, with the Bay Area preferred and the ability to work from an office one to two days per week; remote talent with four to six hours of daily Pacific Time overlap is also considered. Pay is targeted at $100–$200 per hour, with flexibility for exceptionally well-qualified individuals. The six-month initial engagement supports production agents for content insight synthesis, evidence-grounded claims, personalization, and early quality or compliance checks.

What you'll do

• Code agent logic, integrations, structured outputs, tests, and evaluations within defined use cases and architecture patterns
• build agents using tool calling, retrieval, grounding, and structured outputs
• integrate with APIs, document repositories, content systems, or other agents
• implement validation, citations, provenance, and controls for unsupported outputs
• write automated tests and evaluations for behavior, accuracy, and failure cases
• work with AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and AgentCore.
