Adult Employment Specialist

The Adult Employment Specialist is an onsite, full-time position serving Butler County, OH; compensation is $18 per hour. Best Point Education & Behavioral Health’s WorkPlace Associates team uses the Individual Placement and Support model to help adults with disabilities pursue employment and independence. The specialist works one-on-one with participants to identify career goals, build skills, address barriers, connect with employers, and support job retention. Partnerships with businesses and community providers help create employment opportunities aligned with participants’ interests and abilities.

What you'll do

• Conduct intake assessments
• provide job development, placement, coaching, and retention services
• help participants address employment barriers and build job-readiness skills
• facilitate job-seeking and career-readiness groups
• develop employer and community partnerships
• coordinate with families and treatment providers
• lead vocational training sessions
• and maintain timely case records.
