What you'll do

• Educate patients about lens materials and designs
• interpret and transpose prescriptions
• recommend frames and lenses
• adjust and repair frames
• measure lens and fitting parameters
• order custom lenses and contact lenses
• verify prescriptions and product accuracy
• post charges and payments and bill insurance when needed
• maintain displays, inventory, instruments, and tools
• troubleshoot eyewear issues
• follow clinical workflow and protect confidential information.
