Floor Technician

Working under the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor, the Floor Technician performs routine floor care and related cleaning, follows safety and infection-control practices, and reports hazards or maintenance issues to help protect residents and maintain facility readiness.

What you'll do

• Perform assigned floor-cleaning tasks, including stripping, waxing, and shampooing
• dust mop, wet mop, and buff floors
• clean walls, rails, doors, and baseboards
• clean the front porch and surrounding area and remove trash
• follow safety and infection-control practices
• report hazards, equipment problems, maintenance issues, and incidents
• protect resident confidentiality and property rights
• attend scheduled meetings and training.
