Compliance Test Technician – SME Solutions

The Compliance Test Technician role is onsite in Marysville, WA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Compensation starts at $22–$26 per hour, with conditional increases of $2–$3 per hour within 12 months. The role supports SME Solutions’ fuel-industry service and compliance testing work across the Pacific Northwest. The technician tests customer sites and maintains fuel-system equipment to support regulatory compliance and safe, reliable fuel distribution systems. The position includes field visits, troubleshooting, documentation, and training toward more advanced technical work.

What you'll do

• Test customer sites under government regulations, which may include sensors, pumps, lines, and tanks
• maintain fuel dispensers
• troubleshoot and repair leaks
• assist with tank monitoring and sump pump operations
• perform pressure testing and replace meters, filters, and sensors
• troubleshoot basic electrical issues
• follow job documents and safety protocols
• document work
• maintain a stocked company vehicle
• travel to customer sites and shop locations.

Why this role
