What you'll do

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations and ongoing management
• evaluate and treat acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions
• perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures as indicated
• manage pre- and post-procedure care
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• interpret laboratory, imaging, pathology, and endoscopic findings
• participate in rounds, handoffs, and care coordination
• educate patients and families
• document encounters and procedures
• participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives
• follow clinical guidelines and hospital policies.
