The Hydroblasting Crew Leader role is onsite in the Lake Charles, LA area. Compensation is not specified. The crew leader directs hydroblasting work that removes scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt from metal or hard composite surfaces. The role operates and adjusts equipment while following job-site safety requirements and supervisor direction.

What you'll do

• Direct abrasive-laden compressed air or water from a nozzle to clean and finish surfaces
• adjust pressure and grit concentration to achieve the specified finish
• wear required protective equipment
• mask areas that are not to be blasted when needed
• order materials as needed
• complete additional assignments as directed by a supervisor.
