Caregiver — In-Home Senior and Adult Care

The Caregiver role is onsite in clients’ homes in the Southern New Hampshire and Coastal Maine service area; the listing location is Portland, ME. Pay is $20 per hour. Extended Family Home Care provides in-home support to seniors and adults. The caregiver provides one-on-one assistance that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. The role combines companionship and daily-living support with household tasks, errands, non-medical medication reminders, and care documentation.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• assist with dressing, bathing, grooming, mobility, incontinence care, ambulation, and transfers
• help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation
• provide non-medical medication reminders
• document care in a daily log.
