Data Center Administrator

Job overview

The Data Center Administrator role is onsite in Kanab, UT, with some remote work required. Compensation is $60,000–$75,000 per year. The role supports secure and efficient healthcare operations through management of critical IT infrastructure and EHR systems. The administrator maintains and improves servers, networks, storage, and healthcare systems; supports users; manages infrastructure lifecycles and security controls; and contributes to compliance, risk assessment, and reliable system operations. The position participates in weekly on-call rotations and must be available for emergencies even when not assigned.

What you'll do

• Provide technical assistance for infrastructure and EHR issues
• configure and troubleshoot EHR systems and permissions
• install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, storage, and EHR systems
• administer Active Directory
• monitor network performance and logs
• maintain access control lists, SFTP scripts, HL7 interfaces, and automation scripts
• secure files and backups
• monitor environmental conditions
• oversee infrastructure refreshes and deployments
• conduct audits and contribute to risk assessments
• develop policies, procedures, and training materials
• participate in weekly on-call rotations.

Why this role

Healthcare IT experience, including Cerner or HL7, is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science, or equivalent experience, and 3+ years of IT infrastructure or systems administration experience are listed qualifications.
