Nutrition Site Aide

The Nutrition Site Aide role is onsite in Washington, DC, with compensation of $19 per hour. Seabury Resources for Aging provides services and housing options intended to help older adults in the greater Washington, DC, area live with independence and dignity. The aide oversees meal service and food safety while supporting participant intake, screening, reservations, records, and site operations. The position is contingent on continued grant funding.

What you'll do

• Oversee food service and portion control
• oversee participant contribution collection
• provide site oversight when the Nutrition Recreation Manager is absent
• complete participant intake and nutrition screening forms and annual updates
• enter data into CSTARS
• maintain meal and activity attendance records and prepare reports
• manage meal reservations
• receive and inspect food deliveries
• follow food handling procedures
• maintain clean serving and consumption areas
• monitor volunteer food sanitation practices.
