Outage Coordinator II is an onsite role based in Hartford, CT, with site or office reporting as needed. The stated salary range is $145,000–$160,000 per year. K&A Power Group provides engineering, project management, construction management, and EPC services to power utility and industrial clients. The coordinator develops and maintains outage plans that align construction and utility work, minimize conflicts, and support safe, coordinated system operations. The role works across project teams and stakeholders from planning through construction and commissioning, updating plans as conditions change.

What you'll do

• Plan, schedule, and oversee construction-related outages
• review outage assessments and requirements
• organize kickoff and follow-up meetings
• develop preliminary and detailed outage plans and drawings
• coordinate outage requirements and resolve conflicts
• align plans with other projects and transmission coordination
• facilitate equipment numbering and post-outage documentation
• develop emergency restoration measures and time estimates
• present plans to project teams and other stakeholders
• monitor plans and manage changes and resubmissions
• maintain a master outage plan.
