Flooring Estimator

Job overview

The Flooring Estimator role is primarily onsite in Renton, WA, with the ability to work remotely one day per week after a 90-day probation period. The stated salary is $70,000–$80,000 per year. Legacy Group Interiors installs commercial flooring for construction partners throughout the Puget Sound area and beyond. The estimator prepares accurate quantity takeoffs and supports the progression of projects from estimate to installation. Working with Project Management and Sales, the role analyzes project documents, supports proposals and shop drawings, and updates estimates when project scope changes.

What you'll do

• Support project intake and qualification
• gather and analyze requests for proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents
• create quantity takeoffs using FloorRight
• maintain project logs
• solicit vendor pricing and support quote building
• update takeoffs for scope changes
• and occasionally visit project sites to verify conditions.
