The Full-Time Junior Kindergarten Teacher — Full-Day Classroom role is onsite in Natick, MA, with pay of $21.00–$24.00 per hour. The Tobin School’s JrK Full Day classroom supports up to 16 children per day and provides a transitional year for children who miss the kindergarten cutoff or would benefit from another year. The teacher works with classroom colleagues to support children’s learning, care, and development. The role contributes through curriculum planning, child assessment, family communication, supervision, and adherence to safety, sanitation, licensing, and accreditation requirements.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff
• communicate with parents
• supervise children
• plan curriculum and assess children
• follow safety and sanitation protocols, EEC licensing regulations, and NAEYC accreditation criteria. Work 40 hours per week in eight-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling, mostly 9:45 a.m.–5:45 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• summer work is in the Summer at Tobin Jr program.
