Production Artist

Job overview

The Production Artist role is onsite in Hayward, CA, with compensation of $21–$24 per hour. The artist joins Techstyles Sportswear’s Creative Team and supports U.S. sales representatives with location-based designs for their markets. The role adapts existing catalog artwork and develops new designs as needed, then prepares accurate, production-ready files for apparel and merchandise decoration. It helps the Creative Team meet customer and regional design needs while coordinating artwork requirements with sales, customer relations, hardgoods, and production colleagues.

What you'll do

• Create, modify, and prepare location-based artwork for apparel and merchandise
• collaborate with the Creative Director, sales representatives, and customers on design needs
• adapt catalog artwork while maintaining quality and consistency
• prepare production-ready files to printing specifications
• use Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop
• review spelling, placement, color, and overall quality
• prepare and export PDF and other required formats
• coordinate workflow, document revisions, and manage multiple requests and deadlines.

Why this role

Requires at least three years of Production Artist experience and an associate degree in graphic design or equivalent professional experience. Applicants must provide a portfolio link. Experience with hardgoods, drinkware, T-shirt design, or screen-printing production is a plus.
