Diesel Technician

Job overview

The Diesel Technician role is onsite in Woodbridge, VA, with compensation of $24–$36 per hour. Accel Talent Group is recruiting experienced technicians for shop and mobile opportunities supporting diesel trucks and buses. The technician diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electrical problems, performs preventive maintenance, documents completed work, and helps keep fleet equipment operating safely and efficiently. Duties may include road calls and emergency repairs, and overtime may be needed.

What you'll do

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• perform preventive maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, and drivelines
• use diagnostic tools and manuals
• document work
• support drivers and operators
• maintain a safe, organized work area
• handle road calls and emergency repairs as applicable.
