The Lead Teacher position is onsite in Jeannette, PA. Pay is $22–$24 per hour. Brightside Academy operates early learning centers and offers a nationally recognized curriculum and modern classrooms. The lead teacher creates a safe, engaging, age-appropriate classroom and supports children’s learning and development. The role contributes to children’s growth through lesson planning, family communication, collaboration with assistant teachers and center leadership, and compliance with health, safety, licensing, and classroom-ratio requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead an age-appropriate classroom experience
• create and implement lesson plans and learning activities
• maintain a safe, welcoming, organized classroom
• support children’s developmental needs and adjust activities
• communicate with families
• work with assistant teachers and center leadership
• follow health, safety, licensing, and classroom-ratio requirements.
