Reliability Engineer

The Reliability Engineer is an onsite role based in Huntsville, AL, with a salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year. This position supports the BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions (ECMS) division by developing and implementing reliability engineering systems for the Huntsville site. This role exists to improve asset effectiveness and optimize maintenance costs. The engineer will apply reliability methodologies such as Risk-Based Inspections and Root Cause Failure Analysis to resolve equipment issues and lead multi-year reliability improvement plans.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement reliability engineering systems.
• Apply Risk-Based Inspections (RBIs) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
• Manage multi-year reliability improvement plans.
• Support capital and expense projects.
• Provide engineering expertise for equipment design and maintenance.
