What you'll do

• Review treatment referrals for medical appropriateness using evidence-based guidelines
• identify diagnoses and treatment plans
• assess requests against applicable guidelines and documentation
• identify potential over-utilization and, when appropriate, discuss amendments or withdrawal with providers
• refer potential non-certification cases to clinical reviewers
• coordinate peer-to-peer contacts
• and communicate determinations to relevant parties within required timeframes.
