What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding, transfers, ambulation, and exercises according to the care plan
• take and record vital signs when ordered and competency requirements are met
• perform range-of-motion and other simple procedures when ordered and competency requirements are met
• assist with laundry and home safety
• recognize emergencies and follow emergency procedures
• communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and the office
• document care and report changes to the nurse supervisor.
