What you'll do

• Recover patients from anesthetic procedures and provide care for the remainder of hospitalization
• recognize possible post-anesthetic complications and relay information to the overseeing doctor team
• carry out treatment orders
• perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, emergent intubation, CPR, and maintenance of central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, and tracheostomies
• support staff in patient care and unit operations
• transport animals safely.
