What you'll do

• Examine and diagnose patients
• develop and implement patient management plans
• order and perform diagnostic tests
• prescribe medication and recommend diet and activity programs as indicated
• counsel and educate patients
• review outside medical records for co-managed care
• complete clinical reminders and medical records within 24 hours of encounters
• respond to patient requests, alerts, consults, orders, and results in accordance with VA guidelines
• participate in outreach and support enrollment and retention.
