Job overview

The Specimen Collector role is onsite in Palmer, AK, with a part-time schedule Monday–Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Pay is $18–$21 per hour. Millennium Health is an accredited specialty laboratory providing medication monitoring and drug testing services to support clinical decision-making. The collector provides patient-facing collection and administrative support, ensuring specimens and related information are handled and prepared for laboratory processing. The role connects clinics and the laboratory while supporting accurate, confidential testing services.

What you'll do

• Collect urine and/or oral-fluid specimens
• process and package collections for shipping
• serve as an intermediary between clinics and the laboratory
• record patient, physician-order, and laboratory information
• resolve specimen concerns involving billing or patient information
• maintain collection supplies
• observe collections when applicable
• driving between facilities may be required.
