Measles Epidemiologist II

What you'll do

• Maintain subject matter knowledge of disease epidemiology and biology
• provide epidemiologic consultation and technical assistance
• conduct routine surveillance
• lead or coordinate case and outbreak investigations
• design and conduct applied studies
• manage and analyze surveillance and investigation data
• prepare reports and presentations
• conduct educational presentations and outreach
• participate in grant writing
• serve as backup staff as needed
• travel to sites for inspections, audits, surveys, or investigations
• may serve as an after-hours on-call epidemiologist for approximately two to three weeks per year if applicable to the program.
