Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Fairfax, VA, with the office expected to move to Chantilly, VA in the fall. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Process and post customer invoices and cash receipts
• review and code vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements
• process check runs and cash disbursements
• prepare and post journal entries
• complete month-end close and balance-sheet and bank reconciliations
• use Unanet for project accounting, time and expense tracking, billing, and reporting
• prepare variance explanations, profit-and-loss statements, and budget schedules
• support GAAP compliance, audits, DCAA incurred-cost schedules, census data, and annual BPOL and personal-property tax filings.
