The role coordinates with supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, quality, finance, and logistics to secure materials, manage supplier commitments, and address risks that could affect production.

What you'll do

• Execute purchasing for direct materials, components, and production supplies
• create and manage purchase orders
• track supplier commitments and delivery risks
• administer RFQs and RFPs and compare bids
• negotiate commercial terms
• translate production requirements into purchasing actions
• coordinate specifications and quality requirements with engineering and quality
• resolve shipping, receiving, and invoice issues
• support supplier corrective actions
• identify cost, lead-time, and inventory improvements
• maintain procurement records and supplier documentation.
