The Phlebotomist role is onsite at One Medical’s Inner Sunset office in San Francisco, CA. Pay is $26.25–$28.25 per hour based on a standard full-time schedule. One Medical provides primary care, in-office and virtual care, and on-site lab services. The role collects and processes specimens while providing a calm, personalized patient experience. It also supports the primary care team with extended-scope clinical tasks, patient follow-up, and administrative work that helps patients move through their care journey.

What you'll do

• Perform venipuncture for patients from pediatrics through geriatrics
• assist with non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vital signs, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
• label, handle, and process specimens
• maintain inventory and sterilize tools
• respond to patient messages and follow up on lab cases
• assist providers and the virtual medical team with clerical duties and reporting.

Why this role

The schedule is 40 hours per week in eight-hour shifts, Monday–Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. An active California phlebotomy certification and at least six months of relevant experience outside a training or externship setting are required.
