Shipping Manager

The manager oversees shipping operations to ensure valuable items are packed, documented, tracked, and delivered safely and on time. The role leads shipping staff, coordinates inventory, resolves client issues, maintains regulatory compliance, and improves processes and service quality.

What you'll do

• Oversee packing, labeling, documentation, and shipment tracking
• supervise and train shipping coordinators and staff
• maintain quality controls for safe handling and packaging
• coordinate with inventory staff on records and storage
• resolve client shipping inquiries
• ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies
• improve processes
• report shipping activity, performance metrics, and inventory status to senior management.

Why this role

Requires at least five years of shipping, logistics, or related experience, including at least two years in a managerial role. A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and move heavy items as needed.
