Engineering Technician

The Engineering Technician role is onsite in Pacific, MO. Starting pay is $22 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Walker Products develops and manufactures engine components and sensors. The technician tests engine components and supports sensor applications by preparing and revising technical prints and database information. The work helps design engineers evaluate products, troubleshoot issues, and determine suitable sensor applications for vehicles.

What you'll do

• Operate test equipment for new engine components and suppliers
• create and revise prints and database information for sensor applications and vehicles
• prepare supporting documentation, including bills of materials, checklists, wiring diagrams, schematics, and fabrication drawings
• assist design engineers with testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• evaluate engine components on vehicles
• develop tests, specifications, and procedures
• track timing and backlog
• support manufacturing and sensor subcomponent design.
