Shift Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Pay is $17.99–$19.97 per hour. The supervisor reports to the Social Development Director and supports Job Corps’ work to prepare young adults for the workforce and life. The supervisor directs dormitory operations during an assigned shift, leading Residential Advisors and maintaining a safe, structured, and inspection-ready environment. The role supports student accountability, career preparation, and development while coordinating with counselors and other departments.

What you'll do

• Supervise and direct Residential Advisors
• support staff scheduling and coverage
• maintain safe, clean, orderly dormitory operations
• enforce center policies and behavioral expectations
• document significant events
• coordinate dorm activities and student development
• communicate between management and residential staff
• coordinate with counselors and departments
• respond to student health, safety, and behavioral concerns
• identify maintenance needs and initiate work orders.
