This position offers a pay range of $18.75 to $21.75 per hour and supports the warehouse operations for MSI, a leading supplier of flooring and countertop surfaces. This role exists to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of shipping and receiving tasks. The team member will verify documentation, pick orders, operate heavy equipment, and travel to various branches to support staffing needs, inventory management, and warehouse reorganization projects.

What you'll do

• Accurately select and place flooring product orders on pallets, then shrink-wrap each pallet.
• Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and type of transportation needed.
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents.
• Collect documentation for outbound freight.
• Pick orders for shipment.
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight.
• Contact carrier representatives.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Update system locations and account for physical material.
• Follow physical inventory procedures.
• Travel to branches in need of warehouse staffing.
