Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care (LTC) - Flexible position in Minto, ND, with a salary range of $26.00 - $36.00 per hour. This role is onsite and offers a flexible schedule. This role exists to provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, ensuring their health, comfort, and safety.

What you'll do

• Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles.
• Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise.
• Utilize appropriate age and population specific standards.
• Perform testing to evaluate resident status.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations.
• Ensure health, comfort, and safety of residents.
• Contribute to resident assessment.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Work effectively with professional and supportive personnel.
• Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality.
• Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocate on prevention and treatment plans.
• Knowledge of resident education principles.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

Experience

Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
