What you'll do
- Direct daily activities of licensed practical or vocational nurses and certified nursing assistants
- promote holistic resident care and compliance with policies
- participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers
- assess changes in resident status and notify physicians and families
- transcribe and carry out physician orders
- administer medications and perform wound treatments as ordered
- schedule follow-up appointments and transportation as indicated
- provide nursing leadership
- perform assigned direct-care skills such as colostomy changes, tube feedings, wound care, suctioning, and IV administration
- conduct rounds
- collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- participate in management meetings.

Why this role
