Field Lead Technician – Restoration

The Field Lead Technician – Restoration role is an onsite, full-time position based in Gaithersburg, MD. Pay is $25–$30 per hour, with on-call and overtime bonuses. The technician leads field restoration work on residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, storm, or mold damage. The role uses digital tools and documented processes to assess damage, track mitigation projects, train technicians, and help ensure work is completed safely and to established standards.

What you'll do

• Lead and train technicians in the field and warehouse
• use RMS, Xactimate, and MICA for documentation and project tracking
• perform damage assessments and moisture inspections
• set restoration equipment according to standard protocols
• communicate job details with customers and internal teams
• maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment
• log time, notes, and photo documentation
• participate in an on-call rotation
• pursue paid IICRC certifications and ongoing technical development.
