The Cycle and HIIT Group Exercise Instructor role is onsite at the YMCA of the Suncoast’s John Geigle North Pinellas Branch in Palm Harbor, FL. Pay is $16–$28 per hour. The instructor supports the YMCA’s fitness program and its mission. The instructor leads safe, effective, and engaging cycling or HIIT classes, helping participants exercise safely and supporting program quality, growth, and retention. The role also includes preparing the room, selecting choreography and music, and maintaining a safe environment and equipment.

What you'll do

• Prepare the room so class starts on time
• select choreography and music consistent with YMCA guidelines
• create a safe environment and report suspicious activity
• maintain and store equipment
• follow emergency procedures
• engage positively with members
• attend designated staff meetings, trainings, demonstrations, and promotions
• arrange coverage for a class when unable to attend.
