Traveling Radiologic Technologist

Job overview

The Traveling Radiologic Technologist role is based in Charleston, SC, with travel to nearby clinics within 10–15 miles; when not traveling, the technologist remains at the assigned home clinic. Pay is $26–$33 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour and mileage reimbursement on travel days. The role supports urgent-care imaging and patient services. The technologist performs diagnostic imaging and related patient-care tasks to support timely clinical assessment. The role contributes to clinic operations by preparing patients, producing quality images, communicating observations and results, and assisting with documentation and other clinical workflows.

What you'll do

• Identify and prepare patients for X-ray exams
• perform diagnostic or therapeutic imaging
• operate imaging and electronic record equipment
• review patient history and share observations with providers
• maintain supplies and equipment
• minimize radiation exposure through shielding and positioning
• document travel and mileage
• manage appointments
• assist with triage, vital signs, patient history, specimens, and administrative functions
• support occupational medicine services
• maintain regulatory, HIPAA, OSHA, and quality-assurance compliance.
