Emergency Department Manager, Registered Nurse

The Emergency Department Manager, Registered Nurse role is onsite in Bisbee, AZ. Compensation is $110,000–$120,000 per year. The role supports the facility’s Emergency and Cardiopulmonary Department and reports under the administrative direction of the Chief Nursing Officer. The manager oversees safe, efficient nursing care for emergency, urgent, and outpatient needs. The role leads department staff and operations, coordinates interdisciplinary care, maintains standards and documentation, and supports staff development and quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Provide administrative direction for emergency and cardiopulmonary nursing personnel
• coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and serve as a liaison among patients, families, and providers
• set department standards and objectives
• recruit and select staff
• monitor staffing, patient acuity, expenses, equipment, and supplies
• support staff development and competency evaluations
• participate in quality improvement and policy review
• provide weekend nursing leadership call coverage.
