The Behavioral Health Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Therapist role is onsite in Riverside, RI, with annual compensation of $90,000–$100,000. East Bay Community Action Program’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic team serves people with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The therapist provides outpatient clinical care across the continuum, supporting clients’ recovery through assessment, individualized planning, evidence-based therapy, crisis response, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team.

What you'll do

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop person-centered recovery plans
  • provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
  • apply ASAM Criteria for level-of-care decisions
  • collaborate with prescribers on medication-assisted treatment integration
  • provide crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and safety planning
  • document in the EMR
  • participate in case consultation, team communication, and community coordination.
