Facilities Assistant — Parish Buildings and Grounds

The Facilities Assistant role is onsite in Boulder, CO, for $20 per hour, part time, 20 hours per week, primarily weekday mornings. St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center serves the University of Colorado-Boulder community and supports its Catholic faith and educational mission. The assistant helps the Facilities Director maintain clean, safe, and orderly parish buildings and grounds, and assists with renovations and other projects. Routine upkeep and event preparation help keep the Center’s facilities ready for parish and community use.

What you'll do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, equipment, and facilities
• handle lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal upkeep
• inspect facilities and identify repair or safety needs
• clean interiors and remove trash
• set up events
• assist with emergency facility situations
• support lighting, storage-area safety, and unauthorized-parking reporting
• assist with renovations and property projects
• attend required training.
