Mechanical Service Estimator

Job overview

The Mechanical Service Estimator works onsite in Mobile, AL. Pay is $22–$26 per hour. The role supports crane inspection and service operations by turning inspection findings into repair proposals for customers. The estimator evaluates reports and technical findings, scopes labor, parts, and equipment, and works with customers and service teams to develop and present accurate repair estimates. Following up on quotes and tracking activity helps drive service sales and support safe, reliable customer equipment.

What you'll do

• Review crane inspection reports, technician findings, and safety documentation
• identify labor, parts, and equipment needed for repairs
• consult with customers about findings and corrective actions
• partner with technicians to develop repair scopes
• prepare and present estimates
• follow up on quotes
• manage customer communications in NetSuite
• support field personnel with component identification and estimation
• participate in weekly production meetings.

Why this role

Requires at least two years of technical estimating, service quoting, parts sales, industrial service, or related experience; high school diploma or GED and valid driver's license required. Hands-on mechanical experience and NetSuite or CRM/ERP experience are preferred.
