What you'll do

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools
• maintain kitchen areas and food-preparation surfaces
• set up and clear the pot-washing area
• check and record wash and rinse temperatures
• sort, stack, and store clean equipment
• clean the dish machine, floors, mats, tray line, and work areas
• remove trash and cardboard
• restock clean items
• report equipment malfunctions or supply shortages
• follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• assist with other kitchen tasks as needed
• occasionally bus tables and pour juices for patients and residents.
