Facility Technician

The Facility Technician role is onsite in Perry, FL, on a Monday–Thursday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is not specified. Nammo Perry is a center of excellence producing munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. The technician performs daily facility maintenance and projects using general mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC skills. The role supports safe, reliable site operations by completing preventive maintenance and work orders, troubleshooting facility issues, and documenting work in the maintenance system.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance, work orders, and facility projects
• use mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC skills
• document and close work orders and preventive maintenance in the CMMS
• identify tools and materials needed for jobs
• assist with preventive maintenance and parts changes
• troubleshoot basic HVAC and plumbing issues
• install fixtures as needed
• follow lockout/tagout, hot-work permitting, and plant safety procedures
• operate a forklift after onsite training.
