Brake Operator

The role also supports material handling and shop organization while developing operator skills under the Brake Lead.

What you'll do

• Perform duties assigned by the Brake Lead
• develop operator skills
• run proven setups and make minor tooling and machine-controller changes to maintain tolerances
• measure dimensions using dial calipers, squares, and protractors
• clean and maintain the brake department
• assist higher-level operators with material handling and large parts
• move to other shop areas as workload requires
• keep the department clean and orderly.
