What you'll do

• Monitor the effectiveness of infection prevention and control strategies
• apply epidemiologic principles and statistical methods, including risk stratification and benchmarking
• identify target populations and risk factors
• implement prevention strategies and analyze trends. Provide direct wound care, assess wounds, select treatment modalities, collaborate with physicians, develop and update individualized care plans, perform dressing changes, wound cleaning and debridement, monitor advanced treatments such as negative pressure wound therapy, and teach patients and caregivers wound care.
