Medication Aide

The Medication Aide role is onsite in Scotland Neck, NC, with pay of $13–$20 per hour. Scotland House works to create safe, comfortable communities where seniors can thrive. The role supports residents’ health and well-being by administering medications accurately, monitoring health status, and assisting the nursing team in providing caring support that promotes dignity and independence.

What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols
• store, handle, and dispose of medications properly
• monitor and report adverse reactions and changes in residents’ health
• measure and record vital signs as needed
• assist with basic healthcare tasks under licensed staff supervision
• encourage participation in wellness programs and activities
• follow infection-control procedures and maintain organized, secure medication carts and records
• respond to emergencies and assist with emergency care when necessary.
