Line Cook (AM Shift)

The Line Cook (AM Shift) role is onsite in Lake Placid, NY, with compensation of $22–$25 per hour. The cook joins the culinary team at Cambria Hotel Lake Placid – Lakeside Resort to support guest dining. The cook prepares and plates dishes to established standards, maintains food safety and sanitation, and supports kitchen operations. The role contributes to timely, consistent service through coordination with kitchen and hotel staff.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook dishes using standardized recipes
• assist with menu execution and seasonal ingredients
• check quality, plating, and portions
• follow food safety and sanitation requirements, including HACCP principles
• support food preparation, inventory, and equipment upkeep
• coordinate with kitchen staff and servers
• assist with training new staff and mentoring less experienced cooks.
