The Part-Time Technology Teacher — Early Childhood Education role is onsite in Wayne, NJ, on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pay is $23–$25 per hour. The teacher supports Apple Montessori Schools students from preschool through elementary age with hands-on technology, STEM, coding, and robotics learning. The teacher develops age-appropriate lessons and classroom projects that build students’ technology skills, curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. The role also supports responsible technology use and student progress through instruction, assessment, and communication with families and school staff.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver age-appropriate technology, STEM, coding, and robotics lessons
• introduce basic coding using Scratch, Blockly, or similar platforms
• teach internet safety and digital citizenship
• plan lessons aligned with curriculum and developmental levels
• differentiate instruction
• assess and track student progress
• maintain an inclusive classroom and required student-to-teacher ratios
• communicate with students, families, teachers, administrators, and school leadership.
