What you'll do

• Define composite architecture, material-system concepts, layer and interface functions, formulation space, and design rules
• lead hands-on CCL product design, prototype builds, experimental planning, data interpretation, and iterative optimization
• establish relationships among polymer structure, processing, performance, and reliability
• translate customer, manufacturing, cost, and supply-chain needs into product requirements
• set technology strategy, roadmap, priorities, and stage gates
• lead design-build-test cycles
• develop three initial direct reports and build the team as the program grows
• collaborate with customers, suppliers, laboratories, universities, and manufacturing partners
• establish technical review, risk management, documentation, and intellectual-property practices.
