The Registered Nurse, Endoscopy, Days role is onsite in Granite City, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 8-hour shifts and required call. Compensation is $35–$55 per hour. The nurse joins Gateway Regional Medical Center’s Surgical Services team, supporting gastrointestinal procedures. The nurse provides safe procedural care from preparation through recovery, assists physicians during endoscopy, and coordinates with clinical colleagues. This work supports effective GI procedures through patient monitoring, education, accurate documentation, and attention to a sterile and safe environment.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for endoscopic and GI procedures
• monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
• maintain patient safety and a sterile procedural environment
• administer medications and monitor sedation response per protocol
• provide patient education and discharge instructions
• collaborate with physicians, technicians, and surgical services staff
• maintain accurate documentation and support workflow efficiency.
