Automotive Technician

The Automotive Technician role is onsite in Spring, TX. Pay is $18–$40 per hour. The position supports Midas vehicle inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services. The technician diagnoses and repairs a range of vehicle systems, helping customers maintain safe and reliable vehicles. The role requires independent repair capability as well as collaboration with other team members.

What you'll do

• Perform diagnostics using computer systems
• service and repair tires, heating and air conditioning, steering and suspension, belts and hoses, cooling systems, batteries, starting and charging systems, brakes, oil changes, check-engine issues, and exhaust systems
• conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections. Requires vehicle repair ability, knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics, experience with shop equipment, adherence to safety and environmental standards, state-specific auto repair certifications, a valid driver’s license, and ability to service foreign and domestic vehicles.
